This Former Australian Model Probably Has The World’s Longest Legs

Long, fit, well – shaped legs is something we all long for. If you’re one of those people, then I’m sure this woman made you insanely jealous.

Caroline Arthur, a former model from Australia, has legs which measure a whole 4.26 feet (51.5 inches, 130cm).

Her legs are the same size as a very short person. Just her legs. Without factoring in the rest of her body.

Her legs make up 69% of her body. That’s a lot.

Caroline herself stands at 6ft 2 (1.87m), and she reckons that her legs are running for the longest in the world.

She said: “I believe that they are definitely the longest in Australia and, as far as I know, in America too.

“The lady in the Guinness Book of World Records (Russia’s Svetlana Pankratova) has legs that are 51.9 inches (131cm) long so it’s quite close.

“Because it’s so close I think it is worth contacting them and finding out exactly where they measure from and getting an official, accurate measurement done.”

Take a look at those legs here!

I can imagine the hell Caroline goes through when shopping for clothes, jeans in particular.

When she’s out and about, she is known to stare at herself quite a bit. She said: “Mostly, I enjoy it. My friends always have to be a bit prepared when they venture out with me because people do stare – especially if I’m dressed up in heels.

“I just know by now that if I’m going out with people in the evening, I’m going to get a lot of attention so I am sort of used to it.

“I have had a few people say nasty things but mostly it’s great and people are really nice.”

She has passed the ‘tall gene’ on to her kids. Her son Cooper is already the same height as his mom, and her daughter Zoe is 5’9″ (1.75m)

Caroline didn’t inherit her tall gene from her mom though, as she stands at just 5’2″ (1.58m).

It’s also a good thing that her husband, Cameron, is also about the same height as his wifey.

“Being married to her is definitely good for my posture because I have to stand up straight,” he said.

Even then, the mom is very proud of her “little” girl. “She carries herself so well, is a lovely person, a great mother and a wonderful daughter.”

“When I think that she might have the longest legs in the world, I feel incredibly proud.” Aw.

While Caroline is certainly enjoying the fame now, she was always self-conscious. She kept thinking she was too tall and felt like hiding with clothes.

“I definitely didn’t embrace my height and there was a real period where I didn’t feel beautiful or attractive at all,” she said. Her confidence was boosted, when aged 15, she gave modelling a try.

“My legs featured in a lot of stocking commercials and things. But I was also rejected from a lot of jobs because of my height.

“I was told that I’m too tall for Australian beauty standards and couldn’t model clothes because they just wouldn’t fit me.

“So as much as I did get work because of my long legs, I also got knocked back for the same reason.”

It’s a good thing the hubby is a builder. He designed the house with 10ft high ceilings and an extra-tall work surface in the kitchen
