All foods have positive and negative benefits. Some are full of vitamins and minerals, some are not that much healthy. These foods contain more fat than a doughnut (14 g.fats), but it does not mean you need to get them out of your diet. On the contrary, limited intake of these foods will make you to feel better, and also will prevent the occurrence of various diseases.
Half an avocado
Two tablespoons of peanut butter
If you limit your intake of peanut butter to two tablespoons a day will consume 16 g.fats, half of which are monounsaturated. You will also get 4g of polyunsaturated fats that lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
1 tablespoon of dry coconut
Oatmeal or yogurt contain even 18 g fats, but new research suggests that saturated fats can still find a place in a healthy diet and are not associated with heart diseases as previously thought. Experts recommend to consume about 10% of daily calories in saturated fat, which means that you can add coconut in your meals, but in moderation.
You get a little more than 14 g fats if your breakfast consists of three eggs. Fat content of the eggs is evenly divided into monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
The doughnut contains same fat as 12 olives, but olives unlike doughnuts, contains healthy fats and other nutrients.
